A guided week for licensed paraglider and parakite pilots who want to explore new spots, read the coastal conditions and share the experience with other pilots.

We choose the spot day by day, according to the weather and wind. No fixed schedule and no pressure to fly — just local knowledge, shared experience and room to enjoy the coast.

Fly along a varied stretch of coast around Nazaré and São Martinho do Porto — from dunes and rising slopes to steep cliffs.
Every day, we choose the spot that best fits the conditions.

The flying area stretches along the Portuguese Atlantic coast between Figueira da Foz and Lisbon. Praia da Gralha near São Martinho do Porto is one of the main spots. The right site depends on the wind, weather and local conditions on the day.
The nearest international airport is Lisbon, around a 1.5-hour drive from the flying area.
We start on Saturday and fly together through Thursday, always following the conditions.
For licensed pilots. Accommodation, transport and equipment are not included.
The week runs for six consecutive days, Saturday to Thursday. Before each day, I share where flying looks promising based on the forecast. If there are several options, you can have your say. At the spot, we discuss the local conditions; every pilot decides for themselves whether and when to fly.
You need a valid pilot licence, appropriate flying insurance, your own suitable and airworthy equipment, and your own car or rental car. There is no fixed daily shuttle.
Flying depends on the weather and conditions. There is no guarantee that every day will be flyable, and no guaranteed number of flying hours or days. On non-flying days, we can enjoy the coast, relax or share flying experiences.
The offer is local guiding and spot planning for licensed pilots. Accommodation, meals, transport, equipment and formal flight instruction are not included. You book and pay for your own accommodation.

I’ve been flying paragliders and parakites for several years, in the mountains and along the coast. Portugal and its Atlantic coast have become a big part of my flying life.
Yoshi Goes Flying is my way of sharing local knowledge and the joy of discovering a new flying area with other pilots.
No. Yoshi Goes Flying is a guided flying week for licensed pilots, not a flying course or formal flight instruction. I share local knowledge and discuss conditions and terrain. Every pilot remains responsible for their own decisions and flying.
Usually 1–5 pilots.
Accommodation is not included. I can recommend places to stay, but you book and pay for your own accommodation.
No. Weather and flying conditions can change. I plan around the forecast and choose suitable spots, but cannot guarantee flying every day or a particular number of flying hours.
